"Lifted!" is a South Seattle based Youth Gospel Choir founded in 2021. Our mission is to amplify and nurture the voices of urban youth (*ages 7 to 18), cultivating a deep sense of belonging for them and their families, unearthing and making room for the gifts and talents within, celebrating our individual and collective beauty, and uplifting the hearts and souls of our community through the embodied joy, culture and good news of black gospel music.

Lifted is a tuition-FREE music program so donations to support this important community work are always welcome. It is our joy to provide a safe, fun and inclusive space where young people know that they are loved, worthy of love, full of excellence, and an important part of our incredible family.

We believe in the brilliance of our youth! We aim to empower capable and confident leaders through the discovery and development of their gifts and talents so that they can have a lasting impact on the world.

There are two ways for young people to join the "Lifted!" experience: Register for weekly rehearsals OR sign up for monthly workshops. All participants are invited and encouraged to perform in all of our seasonal concerts.
