Since moving to Seattle from Colorado Springs in 2012, Michael has worked closely with middle school, high school, and college aged students in both academic and faith-based settings. He enjoys playing music and spending time with his family: Megan (partner), Millie (daughter), and Azuki (doggo).
Michael is passionate about walking alongside young people as they realize their own brilliance, wisdom, and capacity to be impactful leaders within their communities. He is committed to teaching, preaching, and embodying a gospel that is more concerned with questions than answers, one that rejects the notion of certainty as the root of good faith.
