Nicole Alefaio
Born and raised in Seattle, Nicole has also lived in Oakland, CA, New Orleans, LA, and spent time adventuring abroad. She is a momma to two daughters, Mele and Mahina, with her life partner, Vito, whom she fell in love with while they both worked at an elementary school in Oakland. They raise their kids with deep-rooted values from a mix of their cultures—Sāmoan, Blackfeet Native, and Mexican.
Nicole currently supports Lake B's Children’s Ministries while pursuing her degree in Registered Nursing with a focus on pediatrics. Her long-term goal is to study public health with an emphasis on Pacific Islander and Indigenous communities, as well as naturopathic medicine. Outside of work, Nicole can be found enjoying Alki's best eats (ask her about her faves—there are A LOT!), ordering a pineapple express from Unwind Café or a strawberry matcha at Natalie’s. Yes, she is also shamelessly promoting local, WOC-owned businesses!
